Editor's Verdict:

Template-Resume did not particularly impress us as a piece of software; it offers only one template to download for a substantial $11.95, and this, whilst apparently constructed by professionals with years of experience in recruitment consulting, is a fairly simplistic one size fits all document. There is hardly any point in actually making a purchase, as most of the useful information is available for free on its website, including all the main points you need to include a resume with explanations as how to tailor these to attract a prospective employer. You could just as easily start your resume from scratch!

The website is, indeed, far more worthwhile, as it offers for free both advice on how to write a resume and an impressive amount of advice on interview technique. This covers all the elements of an interview, from the best way to be dressed to how to finish it off positively even if you feel it didn't go well. There are also a number of common interview questions to practice, with the rationale behind their answers explained. These are generally informative - we could well believe they were written by professionals - and there is even a section dividing all interview questions into a series of types and why certain styles are used.

We would advise anyone planning to purchase this product to firstly check out all the competition as you should be able to get a better deal, but if you still wish to invest in the template, to take a look at the sample available on the website, as this will give an idea of how the finished article is likely to appear. Clickbank does have a 60-day guarantee, but this is only for products that are deemed to be defective, so you are unlikely to get your money back should you simply dislike the product. The website could be worth a visit just for its resume-writing advice and its help preparing for interviews, but we would not recommend the software itself.
